With the support of the J.P. Bickell Foundation, the Archaeology Centre at the University of Toronto will be running a week-long summer archaeology program for high-school students interested in history and archaeology. Students from local high-schools will be introduced to flint-knapping and pottery making, archival research, excavation techniques, and artifact analysis. They will also have a chance to visit the Royal Ontario Museum's back room vaults. The program will be run by senior archaeology undergraduate students and participants in grades 10, 11, and 12 are welcome to apply for this exciting intensive program, which will be run from July 4-8th, 2016.
Space in this course will be limited to 10 students, lunches, Museum visits and all materials will be provided
