Computer equipment has been upgraded to include five high-powered workstations, including one &#8220;supercomputer&#8221; with dual high-end Intel CPUs and Nvidia GPUs, 384 Gb of RAM, and a pair of 4K displays. Two other high-performance machines have a single CPU, GPU, and 4K display, and 128 Gb of RAM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All computers have additional acceleration from high-capacity SSD drives and are designed for graphical applications. These workstations are particular well-suited to 3D modeling and photogrammetric rendering. Currently the workstations have 3D software, ArcGIS, the Adobe and Microsoft program suites. Additional software and licences can be requested by sending an software purchase request to <a href=\"mailto:archaeology@utoronto.ca\">archaeology@utoronto.ca<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the DI Lab resources, the Archaeology Centre has two high-end Dell XPS 15 Laptops for loan (Intel Core i7-9750 processors, 32 GB RAM, and 1 TB SSD hard drives).
