Prof. Chazan received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his Masters and Ph.D from Yale University.&nbsp;&nbsp; He has carried out archaeological research in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.&nbsp; His current research focus is the archaeology of early human sites in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa, particularly the site of&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wonderwerkcave.com\/\">Wonderwerk Cave&nbsp;<\/a>and the sites of the Kathu Complex.&nbsp; Prof. Chazan is the author of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taylorfrancis.com\/books\/9781315208183\"><em>Archaeology and Prehistory: Pathways Through Time<\/em><\/a>, a widely used introductory textbook and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taylorfrancis.com\/books\/9781315439280\"><em>The Reality of Artifacts: An Archaeological Perspective<\/em><\/a>, both published by Routledge.&nbsp;
