The Archaeology Centre Statement on the CAUT Censure against UofT – Updates
One of the key functions of the Archaeology Centre is to coordinate a rich program of lectures, seminars, and workshops to bring together our full community of faculty, researchers, and students to learn about and discuss the recent developments in archaeology. The Centre also partners with the local chapter of the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) and the Canadian Institute for Mediterranean Studies for lectures geared to the general public. Please consider joining the local chapter of the AIA!
Interest groups developed and organized by faculty and students play a particularly active role in the life of the Centre. These groups maintain their own listserve and organize regular discussions and seminars. This is a great way to meet and discuss issues of common interest and perhaps even find new collaborations. If you would like to propose a new interest group please contact the Centre (archaeology@utoronto.ca) or the Director (edward.swenson@utoronto.ca).
Please join the Archaeology Centre Listserve to keep up on all the events by sending us an email at archaeology@utoronto.ca.
